American Orchards is truly a locally owned and operated family business. Founded by Benjamin Searle, Casey Balmforth, and Alan Archibald (two brothers-in-law and a father-in-law), we bring a personal touch to our senior community that separates us from other larger-scale facilities in the area. We live in Gilbert, our kids attend school in Gilbert, and it’s where we call home. We’re committed to making our town and local community better by offering uncompromising care to our seniors and an excellent place to work, volunteer, and visit for all of our neighbors.
Although our story officially began in 2009 when our first assisted living and memory care community opened its’ doors in Mesa, our connection and commitment to senior care dates back to our earlier years and experiences as our own loved ones bravely faced the challenges of aging and memory loss. We learned first-hand through these life lessons what it’s like to be a family member who has to make the often difficult decision to seek out more help. We understand that it can be stressful and difficult, and that it can come with a degree of guilt and anguish. It was during these earlier years when we first began to take notice of the importance and need for quality senior care in a safe and inspiring setting. We’ve been able to collectively put together the most important knowledge that we’ve gained and apply that understanding when at first, envisioning, and then ultimately realizing our senior communities. We are lucky enough to have had the opportunity to design, develop, and operate 5 facilities from the ground up, all of which are in Arizona. We’re very proud of the fact that we put uncompromising care first and that that promise will always remain our top priority
