We offer Around-the-Clock Care – this means we have care staff specifically trained to assess the needs of assisted living and memory care residents, onsite to provide care and properly manage critical situations.
When it comes to the care of our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, we believe that it is truly the team that makes all the difference. Our extra measure of care can oftentimes make a significant impact on our residents’ quality of life and helps reduce the negative toll, both emotionally and physically, of unplanned hospital and emergency room visits.
Types of Care at American Orchards
At American Orchards our care team may assist with:
- Daily medication administration and management
- Diabetic care (including injections and podiatry needs)
- Oxygen care
- Wound care (surgical and pressure ulcers)
- Catheter care
- Colostomy care
- Providing clinical-based oversight and resident monitoring
- Recording resident vitals and monitoring resident wellness
- Accurately charting progress, specific care needs, critical health events, etc.
Our care team can also help residents better age in place and avoid unnecessary stays in skilled nursing facilities and hospitals. They will also complete AZDHS-required assessments and service plans based on the resident’s individual care needs.
Finally, they provide our compassionate team members with guidance and oversight to ensure the highest quality of care and customer service, while communicating directly with physicians, specialists, and other medical providers on a regular basis.
